Have you ever wished you could put off something… someday? Today is someday.
“Someday I am going to be a great artist. Today, I am off to help my dad paint the shed.”
— Someday by Eileen Spinelli
It’s hard to be content with the present moment when you are little. The future has infinitely more possibilities!
Someday I’ll do this or that.
Someday is easy.
Someday is where the dreams go that we aren’t ready for.
Someday allows us to put it off.
Someday makes us smile, makes us forget.
Someday requires no work.
Someday is our comfort zone.
Someday is a lie. Someday is not promised. Someday isn’t actually a day. It’s never today. It’s always out there, just beyond what we do. You see, you’ll never wake up someday. But you woke up this morning. Today. Put your hands out. Grab ahold of your dreams, ambitions, and plans. And drag them kicking and screaming into the present. Into this very day. The only day you’ll ever have.
Someday is a lie.
TODAY is Someday.
What have you been putting off for Someday?
